As one of the first orthodontists to adopt this technology, Dr. Justin was personally trained by Dr. Thomas Pitts – the inventor of the system. He now lectures nationally on these techniques, helping other orthodontists deliver the same exceptional results.

Early Orthodontic Care

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that every child see an orthodontist by age 7 to evaluate jaw growth, bite alignment, and the early development of their teeth.

Retainers
After braces or Invisalign, wearing a retainer is the key to keeping your results for the long haul. At Maccaro Orthodontics & Pediatric Denistry, we offer clear, comfortable retainers like Essix and Vivera to help preserve your smile long-term.
For added support – especially in areas where teeth are more prone to shifting – we may also recommend bonded lingual (permanent) retainers to work alongside your removable ones.

Orthognathic Surgery and TADs
Some smiles need more help than braces or aligners alone. For patients with significant jaw imbalance, bite problems, or concerns about facial balance, we work closely with top oral and maxillofacial surgeons to coordinate orthognathic (jaw) surgery as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
We also use TADs (Temporary Anchorage Devices) to support more advanced types of tooth movement that aren’t possible with braces or aligners alone. They’re especially useful for treating complex issues non-surgically, like gummy smiles or challenging bite corrections.
